Matt Button

Matt Button has extensive work experience in the financial and insurance industries. Matt is currently working as the Head of Product and Commercial at GMHBA Limited. Prior to this, they held various roles at Medibank, including Head of PHI Commercial Management, Head of PHI Portfolio Management, and Commercial Manager. Before joining Medibank, Matt worked as a Financial Consultant at Lander & Rogers. Matt also held the position of Head of Decision Support at both Genesys Wealth Advisers and Challenger Limited. Early in their career, they worked as a Financial Controller at Synergy Capital Management.

Matt Button attended St Virgil's College Hobart from 1986 to 1993 but did not earn a degree or specify a field of study. Matt then attended the University of Tasmania from 1999 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and Human Resource. Finally, they pursued further education at Deakin University from 2004 to 2006, obtaining a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification, but the field of study is unspecified.
