Jenny Mayfield

Jenny Mayfield is an experienced language professional with a diverse background in teaching, translation, editing, and transcription. Currently a Data Annotator at DataAnnotation since September 2023, Jenny has maintained a long-standing role as a Freelance Captioner and Transcriptionist at Rev since March 2018. Jenny's freelance work extends to proofreading, copyediting, and translation between English and French in various genres. Previous teaching positions include adjunct instructor at Mercer University, teacher at Mount de Sales Academy, St. Pius High School, and Big Creek Elementary, as well as participation in Middlebury College's summer immersion program. Jenny holds a Master's degree and has completed doctoral coursework in French Studies from Middlebury and Tulane University, respectively, building a solid educational foundation in language instruction and literature.
