Naiomi Borger

Naiomi Borger has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to IT, data, and analytics. Naiomi is currently serving as the Director of IT, Data & PMO at GMS Health & Travel Insurance. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Information Systems at precision.ai, where they played a crucial role in product development and team growth. Earlier in their career, Naiomi held leadership positions at ISM Canada and Information Services Corporation (ISC), where they led the development of new analytics services, drove sales and delivery of advanced analytics projects, and oversaw business development and marketing decisions. Naiomi also has experience in the education sector, serving as a GIS Instructor/Course Designer at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). Naiomi founded SMART Geographics Inc., offering GIS consulting services to organizations and completing projects for various clients. Naiomi has also worked as a GIS Analyst/Specialist at Bell Canada and held the position of GIS Sales Analyst at Rothmans, Benson & Hedges Inc. In their early career, Naiomi served as a GIS Technical Specialist at Geoscape International, leading consulting projects and conducting geo-demographic analysis. Overall, Naiomi has a strong background in IT, data analysis, and project management, with a focus on GIS and analytics.

Naiomi Borger obtained a high school diploma from Sheldon Williams in 1992. Naiomi then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Geography at the University of Regina from 1993 to 1997. In 1999, they completed a Post Graduate degree in Business GIS at the Centre of Geographic Sciences (COGS). Additionally, Naiomi received certifications in Advanced Leadership Training from Dynamic Achievement in 2019 and ITIL in 2016.
