Alexander Rudloff has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alexander most recently served as the Chief Technology Officer at GMTMSports, where they played a pivotal role in building a social network for the sports industry. Prior to this, Alexander founded More Than Theory in 2016.

From 2012 to 2016, Alexander worked at TED Conferences as the Chief Digital Strategist, TEDx. During their tenure, they developed and executed the technology vision for TED's global community initiative, overseeing the implementation of key support systems and automated processes.

Before joining TED, Alexander held various roles at AOL. Alexander served as the Vice President of Product, Publishing Technologies, where they coordinated the product vision and roadmap for the AOL Content Management System and the Digital Asset Management system. Earlier in their career, Alexander worked as a Software Engineer at Blogsmith, Inc., where they played a crucial role in the development of the Blogsmith CMS, a custom-built blogging platform for Weblogs, Inc. Alexander also worked as a Software Engineer at Number Six Software, consulting for EDS on a DMDC project.

Alexander's career began with an internship at Knight Ridder, where they worked with Charlotte.com, the online component of the Charlotte Observer, assisting with the Real Cities network launch.

In addition to their degree, Alexander have also earned certifications as a Rational Unified Process Consultant from IBM Rational in August 2004, and as a Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) from Sun Microsystems in July 2004.
