Joanne O'Boyle FCIM has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries. Joanne currently holds a position at Go Ape as the Sales and Marketing Director, where they manage all aspects of marketing and oversees digital acquisition, content strategy, and activation of campaigns across various channels. Prior to that, they were the Director of Spencer's Farm Shop, where they successfully turned the business into a profitable entity and won the prestigious "Best Farm Shop" award for Essex.

Joanne also has experience as the Co-Owner of Made in Marlow and has held several managerial roles at Marks and Spencer. At Marks and Spencer, they managed marketing budgets, delivered international campaigns, and played a key role in brand redefinitions and rebrands. Joanne also gained valuable international sales and marketing management experience as the International Junior Sales & Marketing Manager for the per una brand, where they helped double total retail sales in two years through global expansion and productivity improvements.

Earlier in their career, Joanne worked at IBM in marketing support.

Joanne O'Boyle FCIM completed their education at The Manchester Metropolitan University from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a BA(Hons) degree in Retail Marketing. Prior to that, they attended Fulford School from 1991 to 1998. In addition to their academic background, they obtained a CIM FCIM Membership from the CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in February 2021.
