Piyali Sen

Piyali Sen has a wealth of experience spanning several reputable companies. Piyali is currently working as the Head of Retail & Modern Trade at GO DESi since November 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Business Head - Ola Stores at Ola from June 2021 to November 2022. From June 2017 to December 2020, Piyali held the role of Head Of Merchandising at Tanishq, a division of TITAN COMPANY LIMITED. Piyali also worked at Flipkart as the Director of Retail from October 2015 to February 2017. Piyali's early career includes positions at Metro Cash and Carry, where they served as the Head of Global Category Management (China, Spain, Turkey, and France) from July 2012 to September 2015. Piyali also held various roles in buying, merchandising, and category management at Metro Cash and Carry from September 2002 to June 2012. Piyali started their career as a Category Manager - FMCG at Foodworld Supermarkets Ltd. from April 1999 to July 2001.

Piyali Sen has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Commerce from Symbiosis International University, which they obtained from 1995 to 1998. Piyali also holds a Master of Science degree in Retail from the University of Surrey, which they completed from 2000 to 2001.
