Kevin Hausmann has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Starting from 2009, they worked as a Substitute Teacher at AMHERST CENTRAL SCHOOLS FOUNDATION INC for six months. In the same year, they also served as a Mathematics Specialist at Sweet Home Central Schools for a period of six months. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Special Education Teacher at Stanley G Falk School. Kevin then moved to Uncommon Schools and worked as a Learning Support Specialist at Kings Collegiate Charter School from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, they joined Achievement First as a Founding Learning Support Specialist at Aspire Elementary. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Lead Teacher at GO Project, and from 2017, they served as the Director Of Curriculum And Instruction at GO Project. In 2014, they started working at Ascend Public Charter Schools as a Special Education Teacher until 2018, after which they became the Dean Of Instruction until 2020. Currently, they are employed as the Director of Diverse Learning at Future Public School since July 2022.
Kevin Hausmann completed their Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus on Special Education and Teaching at Buffalo State University from 2004 to 2009. Following that, they pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Literacy Specialist at the University at Buffalo Graduate School from 2009 to 2011.
