Franz Himpsl-Zeltner

Franz Himpsl-Zeltner is a seasoned content professional with extensive experience in editorial leadership and production, currently serving as the Content Evolution Lead at Blinkist since May 2019. In this role, Franz is responsible for enhancing the quality of Blinkist’s content and overseeing both German and English production teams. Previously, Franz held several positions at DUZ Verlags- und Medienhaus GmbH, including Editor and Project Manager, where contributions included the creation of Germany's first open access platform for PhD students. Other formative experiences encompass editorial internships at prominent publications such as Die Zeit and Süddeutsche Zeitung, complemented by a strong academic background in philosophy, culminating in a Ph.D. from the University of Regensburg.
