Lesley M.

Lesley M. has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Lesley began their career in 2003 as a Senior Software Engineer at IBM Research, where they designed and built enterprise storage systems and data management industry solutions. Lesley was awarded an Invention Achievement Award for inventing and patenting four data management techniques. In 2010, Lesley moved to Deutsche Bank as a Product Manager, where they defined use cases and requirements for an algorithmic trading software platform. In 2011, they joined Nomura Securities as a Senior Account Manager, responsible for business development and marketing of fixed income financial products. In 2013, they moved to Amazon Web Services as a Product Head, leading cross-functional teams to deliver highly available and scalable cloud computing services. In 2015, Lesley became the Head of Mobile Platforms at M-KOPA Solar, managing a team of developers, testers, business analysts, and product managers. Since 2018, they have been the Founder & Co-CEO of GoBEBA, a darkstore-enabled digital retailer of household essentials, and an Advisor for the Distributed Ledgers and Artificial Intelligence TaskForce at the Ministry of Information, Communication, and Technology.

Lesley M. obtained their MBA from The Wharton School between 2009 and 2011. Lesley also obtained their M.S in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2003. Lesley also holds certifications in Series 7 and 63.
