Andrew Waterman has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Andrew is the Principal Machine Learning Consultant and Founder of Waterway Data, where they help companies improve their products and scale their businesses using data science, machine learning, and natural language processing. Andrew has also worked as an Extended Team Member at Ubiquity Ventures and as a Machine Learning Engineer at GOBEL. Additionally, Andrew has served as a Machine Learning Consultant and Senior AI Consultant at Actium Health and USAsia Venture Partners, respectively, through their work with Waterway Data. Andrew has also worked as a Startup Mentor at Nordic Innovation House and held positions as a Product Manager at Swift Navigation, Senior Product Manager at Affirm, Inc., and Product Manager at Google. Furthermore, Andrew has held the role of Director of Product / Payments at Check Inc. (now Mint Bills), where they successfully launched a bill payments service and contributed to the company's acquisition by Intuit/Mint.
Andrew Waterman has a Master of Science degree in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Symbolic Systems from the same institution. Prior to their university education, Andrew attended Montgomery Blair High School, where they participated in the Math, Science, Computer Science Magnet Program. In addition to their formal education, Andrew has obtained multiple certifications in various fields, including deep learning, recommender systems, and machine learning, from institutions such as Coursera and Google Cloud Platform.
