Acácia Pereira de Almeida has a diverse work experience in the field of product design. Acácia started their career as a Web Designer at Agência KR, where they worked directly with small businesses on various projects. In 2015, they joined TokBox as a Design Intern before becoming a Fully Remote Designer. At TokBox, they played a key role in leading a B2B Video API platform, working on UX, print, and other deliverables. Acácia redesigned the company logo, improved the white paper template, and created a modular documentation wizard that increased developer conversion.
In 2019, Acácia joined Nexmo, the Vonage API Platform, as a Product Designer. Acácia was responsible for the documentation website, dashboard, and developer tools, as well as UX research and stakeholder management. Acácia also participated in the company's rebranding process and applied it to the design system.
Currently, Acácia is a Product Designer at GoCardless, a leading fintech company specializing in bank-to-bank payment solutions. Acácia is part of a core group defining strategy and designing solutions for platform partners and merchants. Acácia contributed to a major rebranding project by creating design system components, image libraries, and website pages.
Acácia Pereira de Almeida pursued their education starting in 2009 at ETEC Paulino Botelho, where they studied Web Page, Digital/Multimedia, and Information Resources Design. Acácia completed their studies in 2010 at this institution. In 2012, they enrolled at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design in 2016. In 2014, Acácia had the opportunity to participate in an international exchange program at Savannah College of Art and Design, focusing on Design. Their studies at Savannah College of Art and Design concluded in 2015.
