Mathieu Wadbled

Mathieu Wadbled has a diverse and extensive work experience in the financial sector. Mathieu started their career at PwC France, where they worked as an Auditor in the Financial Services and Investment Products department from 1998 to 2000. Mathieu then joined Deloitte France as an Auditor Manager in the IFI/EPARFI Department, where they conducted audits on fund management companies, investment funds, and commercial companies.

In 2004, Wadbled moved to AXA Investment Managers as the Head of Internal Control. Mathieu developed the internal control program across multiple business lines, including fund management, middle and back office, sales, trading, risks, and compliance.

After that, they joined AXA INVESTMENT MANAGERS IF, where they took on several roles. Mathieu started as the Chief Compliance Officer, responsible for creating and developing the compliance environment and promoting a compliance culture within the organization. Mathieu later became the CEO, overseeing the development and management of the company across various dimensions. Additionally, they served as the Secretary General for Trading & Securities Financing, focusing on improving operational security by utilizing their regulatory and second-level control experience.

Currently, Wadbled is the Head of Compliance Europe at GoCardless, where they lead compliance efforts in the European region.

Mathieu Wadbled has a diverse education history. In 2019-2020, they attended CentraleSupélec and obtained an Expert degree in global risk management, specializing in risk management. Prior to that, from 1998-2000, they studied at ICOGES, where they earned a DECF degree in expertise comptable, focusing on accounting expertise. Before that, from 1996-1998, Mathieu attended Université d'Orléans and obtained a DUT degree in gestion des entreprises et des Administrations, studying business and administration management. Additionally, Mathieu holds a certification in BULATS - C2 Level from Cambridge Assessment English, although the details of the certification and when it was obtained are not provided.
