Olatunji Oduro

Olatunji Oduro began their work experience in 2014 as a student at the University of Lagos, where they focused on creating and analyzing algorithms for numerical and computational problems. Olatunji then joined Dollgsoft Inc as a Junior Software Engineer, where they worked on an app called 'lagmobile' using C# and MySQL.

In 2016, Olatunji joined WhoGoHost Limited as a Software Developer, initially as an intern and later as a full-time employee. Olatunji then moved on to JORG Technologies Ltd, where they served as a Junior Software Developer and later as a Software Development Manager. During their time at JORG Technologies, they built the first version of the nairabox API using Java, Angular, MongoDB, and Node.js. Olatunji also handled integrations of nairabox APIs into partner services.

In 2017, Olatunji joined Interswitch Group as a Software Engineer, where they designed middlewares for authorization and validation, enhancing security by limiting direct access from public services. Olatunji also played a key role in improving deployment rollouts for banks.

From 2019 to 2021, Olatunji worked remotely via Andela for JustPark as a Software Engineer. Olatunji was a key member of the Luna product team, which improved parking information accessibility for space owners and reduced customer complaints. Olatunji designed and implemented a service that tracked bookings at parking spaces, utilizing PHP, gRPC, Horizon, and go routines.

Currently, Olatunji is employed as a Software Engineer at GoCardless, starting in 2021.

Olatunji Oduro completed a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Mathematics from the University of Lagos, which they attended from 2011 to 2015. In addition, they also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the same university, spanning from 2010 to 2015.
