Christopher Usher has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Christopher most recently worked as a Facilitator at Interfaith Youth Core since October 2021. Prior to that, they were the Fashion Director at Pan African Film & Arts Festival starting in April 2022. In 2019, they served as the Director of Arts Education at NEXT LEVEL BEAUTIFUL, a non-profit organization focused on education and empowerment. Christopher also worked as a Performing Arts Conservatory Director/Playwright at Goddard Riverside since March 2016 and as a Production Assistant at Warner Bros. Entertainment from October 2019 to February 2020. Christopher's experience includes teaching artist positions at New Heritage Theatre Group, The Leadership Program, and Children's Aid Society. Christopher also worked as an Assistant Director at Brooklyn Academy of Music and as a YALTA Program Assistant and Resources and Development Assistant at CREATIVE ARTS TEAM INC.
Christopher Usher completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre/Theater at Prairie View A&M University from 2009 to 2012. Christopher further pursued their education at CUNY School of Professional Studies, earning a Master of Arts degree in Applied Theatre from 2013 to 2016.
