Nova Covington has a long history of work experience. Nova began their career in 1992 as a Leadership Development at Hewlett-Packard, where they planned Leadership Development conferences for managers and executives on the west coast. In 1996, they moved to University of Denver as a Public Relations/Communications. In 1997, they co-founded Crossing Cultures, LLC and then in 1999, they became the National Training Manager at Carrier Access. Most recently, in 2004, they founded Goddess Garden, an organic skincare company in Boulder county, Colorado creating the premium natural sunscreen for kids, adults and babies.
Nova Covington obtained a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication from Oregon State University between 1989 and 1993. Nova then went on to receive a Master of Arts in International and Intercultural Communication from the University of Denver between 1996 and 1998. Additionally, they were certified as an Aromatherapist by Dr Raphael J D'Angelo, MD.
