Burjis Godrej has a diverse work experience history. Burjis started their career as a Summer Scholar at ETH Zurich in 2012. Burjis then went on to work as a Research Intern at CATHALAC, where they focused on hydrology. In 2014, they worked as an Intern in Marketing and Innovation at TATA CHEMICALS LTD. After that, they worked as a Consultant at SSEC, providing consulting services for non-profits and companies interested in sustainable practices. Burjis also held various roles at Conservis, including Business Development and Customer Support/Implementation Specialist. In 2017, Burjis joined Godrej Agrovet Limited as the General Manager of Strategy and Business Development, focusing on new product development and sustainability. Burjis later worked at Bayer Crop Science as an MBA Summer Associate, where they focused on digital strategy. Burjis also volunteered at Praava Health, participating in Covid relief efforts. Currently, Burjis holds the position of COO and Head of Business Development at Godrej Agrovet Limited's Crop Protection Business.
Burjis Godrej completed a BS-MS degree in Earth Systems from the Stanford University School of Earth, Energy and Environmental Sciences from 2010 to 2015. In 2015, they also attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business for a SIGM program in General Management. From 1997 to 2010, Burjis attended the Cathedral and John Connon School, where they pursued an ISC- Science stream. Burjis later participated in the Food and Agri Executive Management Program at Cornell University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences in 2018. Currently, Burjis is studying for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Harvard Business School, which they started in 2019.
