Virender Mittal

Virender Mittal has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Virender is currently serving as the VP & Head of Finance Transformation at Godrej Consumer Products Limited since April 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Director and Head of Global Finance Center at Whirlpool Corporation from July 2019 to April 2023.

Virender also has experience working in American Express Global Business Travel, where they served as the India Director of Finance from October 2016 to July 2019, and as the India Controller from May 2015 to September 2016. Before that, they worked at Avon as a Senior Manager Commercial Finance and Controller from September 2010 to March 2015.

Virender Mittal has also served in various managerial roles at Avery Dennison, Cargill, Pepsico India, and Deloitte during the earlier stages of their career. Virender worked as the Manager of FP&A South Asia at Avery Dennison from August 2008 to August 2010, as the Deputy Manager of Corporate Financial Reporting at Cargill from August 2005 to July 2008, as an Assistant Manager of Commercial Finance at Pepsico India from February 2004 to August 2005, and as a Trainee at Deloitte from July 2000 to July 2003.

Virender Mittal holds a Diploma in IFRS from ACCA, which they obtained in 2010. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Chartered Accountancy from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 2000 to 2003. Before their Chartered Accountancy degree, Virender Mittal completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Accounting, Law, Audit, and Financial Management from Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University, from 1997 to 2000. In addition to their educational qualifications, Virender Mittal has also completed the Senior Management Programme from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in October 2020.
