Kate Janeski

Kate Janeski has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Kate is currently the Chief Program Officer at God's Love We Deliver, where they have been since 2018. In this role, they led four teams serving 13,000 clients annually. During their tenure, they scaled operations, launched programs for people with mental health conditions and gestational diabetes diagnoses, and developed an expedited service for people returning home from the hospital.

Before joining God's Love We Deliver, Kate was the Principal at Deep Blue Social Impact Consulting from 2017 to 2018. Kate led their own consulting practice, serving mission-driven nonprofit and private companies, and completed various projects including program model codification and law change recommendations.

Prior to that, Kate worked at the New York City Department of Small Business Services, where they held multiple roles from 2008 to 2017. Kate had progressive responsibility, starting from an entry-level operations role and eventually becoming an Assistant Commissioner. Kate also served as the Executive Director and Director of Workforce Development during their tenure.

Earlier in their career, Kate was a Graduate Intern at Columbia University Center for Social Policy and Practice in the Workplace. Kate contributed to the design and implementation of a change management strategy and wrote briefs on diversity and inclusion practices.

Kate's career began at STRIVE, where they worked from 2003 to 2007. Kate initially served as a Case Manager and later became the Director of Supportive Services. In this role, they managed a program budget of $1.3M and provided skills training and job matching services to individuals with significant barriers to work.

Furthermore, Kate has volunteered as the Local Director at LIFT, Inc. from 1999 to 2003.

Kate Janeski holds a Master of Science degree in Management and Social Enterprise Administration from Columbia University. Furthermore, they completed a certificate program in Executive Leadership at Cornell University from 2021 to 2022.
