Herta Schuster has diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Herta began their career in 1996 as a freelance simultaneous interpreter, translator, language teacher, and coach. In 2009, they worked as a consultant and concept developer for digital learning. Since 2015, Herta has been associated with Goethe-Institut e.V., initially as a project manager and later as the team lead for digital learning. Currently, they serve as the Head of Learning and Development, where they evaluate and updates the organization's L&D strategy, adapts development tools, advises stakeholders and management, and continues to enhance the digital learning strategy.
Herta Schuster completed their education in a chronological manner. Herta obtained a Certified and Public Sworn Translator and Interpreter for English degree from the Fachakademie für Fremdsprachenberufe Kempten in 1995-1996. Herta then attended the Sprachen- und Dolmetscher-Institut München from 1995 to 1996, specializing in Simultaneous Interpreting. In 2009-2010, they pursued a BA in Translation at the Hochschule für Angewandte Sprachen des SDI München. Finally, they earned an MBA in Education and Research Management from the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in recent years, such as What Is Generative AI? from LinkedIn, Masterclass Learning & Development from Nyenrode Business University, Agile Learning Coach from qualityminds.de, and PKM Personal Knowledge Mastery from jarche.com.
