Nico Degenkolb

Nico Degenkolb is a professional with extensive experience in culture and creative industries, currently serving as Referent Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft at the Goethe-Institut e.V. since February 2021. Degenkolb has held various roles, including Action Programme Director (Interim) at EIT Culture & Creativity, and Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Stadt Nürnberg, where responsibilities included coordinating the bid for European Capital of Culture Nürnberg 2025. Previously, at Goethe-Institut, Degenkolb contributed to digital education and organizational development, and authored a SPIEGEL Bestseller with Penguin Random House.
