Mauricio Mejía Caballero

Mauricio Mejía Caballero has worked in a variety of legal roles since 2015. Mauricio started as an intern at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo in 2016 and at Pérez-Llorca in 2017. In 2018, they became a lawyer at Uría Menéndez. Since 2020, they have held the role of Legal Counsel at Gameto Inc., Jazzya Investments, VAS Ventures, Overture Life, and Goggo Network. At VAS Ventures, they have been responsible for developing the legal and engineering framework of the European autonomous mobility networks of the next decades. At Overture Life, they have been making In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) more accessible.

Mauricio Mejía Caballero obtained a Grado en Derecho (E1 Negocios) from Universidad Pontificia Comillas in 2015-2017. Mauricio then completed a Máster Universitario en Práctica Jurídica from Centro de Estudios Garrigues in 2017-2018, followed by a Máster en Derecho Internacional de los Negocios from the same institution. In 2018, they attended Fordham University School of Law for a US Business law and practice course, as well as the World Intellectual Property Organization - WIPO for a DL101 General Course on Intellectual Property and a Summer School on Intellectual Property. In 2016-2017, they obtained a Master 1 en Droit français-espagnol. Mention: Droit des affaires from Université Paris Nanterre. Mauricio also completed a Licenciatura in Derecho from the same institution in 2013-2016. Additionally, they obtained a Licenciatura in Ciencias políticas y gobierno from Université Paris Nanterre in 2012-2015. Finally, they obtained a Grado from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú in 2009-2011. Mauricio Mejía Caballero also holds certifications from ASCOM- Asociación Española de Compliance (CESCOM - Certificación española de Compliance, obtained in July 2020), the International Federation of Compliance Associations (IFCA, Internationally Certified Compliance Professional, obtained in July 2020), Cambridge English Language Assessment (Certificate of Proficiency in English (C2), obtained in November 2016), and Centre international d'études pédagogiques (CIEP, Diplôme approfondi de langue française (DALF) C2, obtained in 2015).
