Julie O'Brien

Julie O'Brien has a diverse work experience with a focus on safety and coaching roles. Julie started their career as an Assistant Swim Coach at The Bolles School from March 2009 to July 2014. Following that, they worked as a Head Age Group Coach at Swim Torrance, where they were responsible for hiring and training new employees, increasing team revenue, and negotiating rental spaces and prices. From 2016 to 2019, they served as a Swim Coach at Lakeside Aquatic Club, where they restructured and managed the age group program, oversaw meet entries, and implemented long-term goal programs. In 2017, they took on the role of Administrative Assistant at Lewisville ISD until June 2019. Currently, Julie is working at GoGuardian as a Senior Manager, Trust and Safety, starting in January 2021. Before that, they held positions as a Lead Safety Support Specialist and a Safety Support Specialist at the same company.

Julie O'Brien obtained a Bachelor's degree in Family Sciences from the University of Maryland, where they attended from 2004 to 2009. In addition to their degree, they also hold a certification in CPR/AED/First Aid from the Red Cross, obtained in 2002.
