Karina Stickle

Karina Stickle is a seasoned professional in community engagement and program development, currently serving as the Community Engagement & Program Development Manager at Go Icon since December 2024. With a wealth of experience that includes hosting the Engaged In Rec Podcast since June 2021 and providing consultancy as a Recreation Program and Calendar Consultant at St. Lawrence College, Karina specializes in creating dementia care-specific program plans that promote wellness and independence. Previous roles include Community Program Manager at GetSetUp, Lifestyle Manager at Signature Retirement Living, and Activity Aide at Gibson Family Health Care, among others. Karina holds a Social Service Worker degree from St. Lawrence College and additional qualifications in Integrated Mental Health and Therapeutic Recreation.
