Marloes de Boer has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Marloes is currently the owner of MDB Board Consultancy, a role they started in September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Director CEO Office at IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd) starting in September 2022. From 2019 to 2021, they were the Bureau Manager at Republiq.

Marloes also has extensive experience at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, where they held multiple roles. Marloes served as a Project Manager a.i. from January 2019 to September 2019. From April 2018 to December 2018, they were the Program Manager for the KLM 100 year initiative. Marloes also worked as the Chief of Staff and Advisor to the CEO from November 2013 to March 2018, where they played a crucial role in shaping KLM's corporate strategy and transformation.

Before their work at KLM, Marloes held various positions including Secretary to the Board / Corporate Secretary at KLM, Secretary to the Board at Hotelschool The Hague, and Policy Coordinator at the Ministry of Economics and Climate. Marloes also worked as the Secretary to the Board at NMa - The Netherlands Competition Authority, where they were responsible for substantive management support in the Directorate Merger Control and Leniency Office.

Marloes started their professional journey as an Intern and Project Manager at BBO bv in April 2000. Marloes then worked as the Board Secretary for the sector Social affairs, Education & Care at VNG from December 2000 to May 2003.

Marloes de Boer attended Leiden University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned their LL.M. degree in Law. Marloes also studied at the Cranfield School of Management in 2011, focusing on Managing Complexity. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in European studies at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 1996 to 2000. In 1998, they studied Communication and Marketing at Assumption University, and in 1995 to 1996, they attended the IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam studying Hospitality Business School.
