Niraj Batra

Niraj Batra has extensive work experience in the aviation and hospitality industry. Niraj started their career at Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces as a Duty Manager, where they successfully managed a team and achieved high customer satisfaction levels. Niraj then moved on to RM Institutes as the Head of Department before joining SpiceJet as a Sales Manager, responsible for increasing revenue and market share through corporate clientele and travel agents. Currently, Niraj is working at IndiGo, where they have held various roles including Head of Direct & Ancillary Sales and Associate Vice President- Commercial. Their responsibilities at IndiGo have included business development, distribution, and sales support.

Niraj Batra completed a Certificate Program in Organizational Leadership from the Indian School of Business in 2015. Niraj also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government, History, and Economics from Osmania University from 1999 to 2003. In addition, they obtained a DHM (Diploma in Hotel Management) from IHM HYDERABAD, specializing in various areas such as Front Office, F&B Service, Food Production, Housekeeping, Sales & Marketing, and HRM from 1995 to 1998. Prior to this, they attended Campus School in Pantnagar from 1979 to 1994, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
