Mauricio Del Solar has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Mauricio began their career in 1997 as a Sales and Marketing Representative at Cartek, a manufacturer of automotive test equipment. Mauricio then moved on to Nortrax, where they worked as a Heavy Equipment Sales Representative. In 2001, Mauricio joined PAMSCO Inc. as a Sales and Marketing Manager, overseeing the Miami-Dade and Broward territory.
In 2001, Mauricio joined Ametex, the largest privately-owned company in Bolivia at the time, as a Commercial Manager. During their tenure, they were responsible for managing a 100% vertical operation and exporting finished goods to over 12 countries. Mauricio then joined MC Textil Venezuela as an Owner and Executive Director, overseeing the company's sales and import offices in Venezuela.
In 2008, Mauricio became a Commercial Manager at Corporacion TEXPOP S.A. in Peru, where they were in charge of customer service, product engineering, technical design, quality assurance, and export departments. Mauricio then ventured into entrepreneurship and founded IMTEX S.R.L., a small sewing shop that grew to become the largest privately-owned textile factory in Bolivia. Under their leadership, IMTEX achieved significant growth, with 398 direct employees, over 500 indirect employees, and a production capacity of 280 thousand units per month. Mauricio also secured exclusive contracts with 68 private schools, making IMTEX the largest school uniform supplier in Bolivia and Uruguay.
Mauricio joined GOJA in 2017, first as a Director of Global Sourcing, where they played a key role in setting strategies for vendor assessments and purchasing terms. Mauricio analyzed supplier trends and financial information to identify cost reduction opportunities. Mauricio later became the Vice President of Supply Chain and Logistics, overseeing all aspects of online selling, fulfillment, and shipping operations.
Simultaneously, in 2017, Mauricio also served as VP Supply Chain at GOJA BOLIVIA S.R.L.
Throughout their career, Mauricio has also shared their knowledge and expertise as a college professor in Marketing and Sales at Universidad Real. Mauricio has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a proven track record of success in diverse roles within various industries.
Mauricio Del Solar obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Florida International University, graduating in 2000. Prior to this, they completed their Associate of Arts Degree in Economics at Universidad Católica Boliviana, attending from 1993 to 1994. Mauricio began their education journey at Saint Andrew's School from 1978 to 1992, where they achieved a Bachelor's degree in Bachiller en Humanidades. In 2001, they pursued additional training at Sullivan and Cogliano Training Centers, specializing in Microsoft Computer Systems Engineering and earning an MCSE degree in 2002.
