Katelyn Savland is the director of shareholder services, where she is responsible for developing and implementing Goldbelt’s shareholder programs, shareholder services policies, and procedures. She oversees the annual election of the board of directors, the production of the corporation’s annual report, and shareholder scholarship programming. She developed the CARES Act application process for Goldbelt, and oversaw the dissemination of over $10 million in Federal CARES Act Funds to shareholders.
Katelyn, who is of Norwegian and Tlingit descent from the T’akdeintaan (Raven/Kittiwake) clan and a shareholder of both Sealaska and Huna Totem Corporation, grew up in Hoonah, Alaska. She joined Goldbelt in 2020 after being the former shareholder services and community outreach manager for Huna Totem Corporation. She is proud to have started her career as a shareholder services intern.
Katelyn is currently enrolled in the Alaska Native Executive Leadership Program with Alaska Pacific University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
