Monica Stafford currently serves as the Senior Program Manager for One Tam Community Engagement at Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, a role held since June 2007. In this position, Monica creates community programs that foster connections to nature and promote volunteer and membership support. Enhanced by previous roles, including directing the One Tam Community Ambassador Program and overseeing Park Stewardship initiatives, Monica has extensive experience in community engagement, volunteer management, and environmental stewardship. Earlier experience includes managing habitat restoration projects and leading volunteer programs at organizations such as The Watershed Project and Friends of Sausal Creek. Monica holds a Master of Science in Rangeland Science and Management from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Chicago.
