Ryan Ross has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Ryan is currently serving as the Head of Sales and Business Development at Golden since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Classy.org from June 2015 to August 2021, holding the position of Head of Channels & Alliances. During this time, they contributed to the company's success as a Certified B Corp and social enterprise, focusing on maximizing the impact of nonprofit organizations through online fundraising tools. Ryan also served as the Group Account Director at Red Door Interactive from May 2013 to July 2015.
Before their role at Red Door Interactive, Ryan gained valuable experience in marketing and communications roles at Karl Strauss Brewing Company. Ryan held the positions of Senior Manager, Marketing Communications & Brand from May 2010 to May 2013, Marketing Manager from January 2009 to May 2010, and Marketing Coordinator from May 2007 to April 2009.
Ryan's work experience began at Fisherman's Landing as a Crew Member on the Royal Polaris from May 2006 to April 2007. Prior to that, they worked as a Fisherman at Seaforth Sportfishing from June 1996 to May 2006.
Ryan Ross has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre, Television & Film from San Diego State University. Ryan also has education in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts from the University of Oxford. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Sandler Sales Academy, Trusted Digital Media Advisor Training from Google, Lean Six Sigma Fundamentals from Lean Business Solutions - San Diego, and Certified Cicerone® from the Cicerone Certification Program.
