Chris Valencia

Chris Valencia is a creative designer with extensive experience in graphic design and art direction, currently working at Golden West Telecommunications since May 2022. Prior to this role, Chris served as a Senior Designer at Evergreen Media Rapid City from October 2016 to May 2022, contributing to several notable publications including Visitor Magazine and Black Hills Parent Magazine. Chris also held the position of Senior Graphic Designer at Visitor Publishing from September 2013 to October 2016, where similar publications were produced. Earlier career experiences include serving as Art Director at Maverick Publishing from 2009 to July 2013 and working as a Graphic Designer at both Hawaii Tribune-Herald and Gillette News-Record in 2008. Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from the University of Wyoming, completing the degree in 2008.
