Aaron David has a diverse work history in the legal field. Aaron is currently serving as the Director and Restructuring Counsel at GoldenTree Asset Management starting in September 2022. Prior to this, they held roles at AIG, where they were a Vice President and Associate General Counsel from January 2021 to August 2022, and Counsel in Credit & Workouts from June 2020 to January 2021. Before joining AIG, Aaron worked as an Associate in the Restructuring department at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP from February 2017 to June 2020. Aaron also gained experience as an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP from October 2015 to January 2017. In addition, Aaron interned as a Portfolio Management Intern at Schultze Asset Management, LP from May 2015 to September 2015. Aaron started their legal career as a Summer Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in 2014. Aaron's early experience includes working as a Judicial Intern for Judge Richard Sullivan in the Southern District of New York from May 2013 to August 2013.
Aaron David attended Emory University from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy with magna cum laude honors. From 2012 to 2015, they attended Harvard Law School and obtained a Juris Doctor degree, graduating cum laude.
