Jason Hitchcox has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Starting in 2000, they worked as an Electrical Engineer at FN Manufacturing, where they were involved in the design and integration of electrical systems into firearms. Jason also worked on automated electrical test fixture design. Jason then joined Lang-Mekra North America as an Electrical Design Engineer, where they worked on various electrical design projects. In 2005, they moved to Glendinning Marine Products as a Senior Electrical Engineer. Jason then returned to Lang-Mekra North America as a Contract Electrical Design Engineer before transitioning to Textron - Jacobsen as an Electrical Engineer, where they focused on designing and integrating electrical systems into hybrid genset and battery power source turf-care vehicles.
In 2008, Jason joined Caterpillar Inc. as an Electrical Engineer, providing maintenance and production support for generator set products. Jason worked on gensets ranging from 13kW to 2MW and supported the <200kW Product Group maintenance and production. After that, they joined Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp as a Design Engineer in the Mechatronics Department.
In 2012, Jason became the Owner and Operator of Hitchcox Homes LLC, where they focused on real estate investments, rehabilitating and renovating properties. Additionally, they purchased fixer-uppers and homes in need of TLC.
Most recently, Jason worked at deeproot Tech, LLC as an Electrical Engineer, responsible for various electrical engineering tasks until their employment at the company ended in July 2020. Jason then joined GoldenWolf, LLC as a Project Engineer in August 2020.
Jason Hitchcox attended Purdue University from 1991 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/Technology (BSET) degree.
