Dave Amerman

Dave Amerman is a lifelong collector of Sports & Historical Memorabilia with over 25 years of experience in the hobby. He formerly managed Steiner Sports Auction division and assisted in the sale of Yogi Berra’s estate along with several other athletes’ collections such as Don Larsen, Bobby Knight, Bobby Valentine, Cookie Lavagetto and others. Dave also owned his own sports memorabilia auction house prior to closing in 2009. He also hosted a live online show for several years called “What’s It Worth?” helping collectors determine the value of their collectibles. Having handled multi millions in consignments and sales dating back to the mid-1990s, Dave’s experience and knowledge have led him to join Goldin in 2019. With a personal interest in nearly all collectibles areas from game-used items to trading cards and having worked at an autograph company, Dave possesses a firm understanding of many aspects of the hobby.
