Don Holt started their career in 1976 as a freelancer, taking on various technical roles in productions for major networks and entertainment companies. Don worked as a technical director, video engineer, camera operator, video tape operator, editor, and audio operator for shows like The Magic of David Copperfield, The Jacksons' Victory Tour, and The Phil Donahue Show, as well as productions for ABC Sports, MTV, and Universal Studios, among others. In 1977, they became a Director at WESH TV, a position they held until 1979 when they joined WOFL TV as a Director. From 1980 to 2000, Don worked as a Production Manager at WOFL TV/Skyline Teleproductions. In 2000, they became the Production Manager at WOFL TV/FOX 35, a position they held until 2008 when they became the Operations Manager at WOFL FOX 35. In 2010, they joined Golf Channel as a Video Engineer. Don also has experience as a self-employed individual in the field of broadcast and corporate production.
Don Holt attended the American School in London from 1966 to 1969 for their high school education. From 1969 to 1976, they attended the University of Central Florida, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre/Film.
