Michael McKenzie, CPA, CMA

Michael McKenzie, CPA, CMA has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several years. Michael most recently worked as a Customer Support Representative at Golf Genius Software starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Manager of Business Development at Nova Scotia Health Authority from September 1999 to June 2018.

Before their role at the health authority, Michael held the position of Manager, Budgeting and Financial Analysis at Loblaws Companies Ltd. from 1994 to 1999. Michael also worked as a Controller at Fisherman's Market International Ltd. from 1992 to 1994 and as a Financial and Operational Accounting Manager at Highliner Foods Ltd. from 1982 to 1992.

Throughout their career, Michael has gained experience in various financial roles, demonstrating their expertise in budgeting, financial analysis, and accounting.

Michael McKenzie, CPA, CMA, began their education in 1977 at the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary's University. Michael pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Accounting, completing their studies in 1980. Subsequently, from 1982 to 1986, they attended the Society of Management Accountants in Nova Scotia, where they earned the designation of CMA - Certified Management Accountant.
