Kirsten Peterson

Kirsten Peterson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Kirsten started their career as a Photography Intern at Stillwater Gazette in 2010 and later worked as a Communications and Public Relations Coordinator at Prestige Resorts & Destinations. In 2012, they took on the role of Social Media and Content Intern at the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce. Moving forward, Kirsten joined the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University as a Telecommunications Supervisor, where they mentored and trained student callers. Kirsten then pursued freelance photography work from 2009 to 2016. Kirsten joined Carmichael Lynch Relate in 2014 and held various positions, including Assistant Account Executive, Account Executive, Senior Media Relations Specialist, and Media Relations Strategist. During their time at Carmichael Lynch Relate, they led media relations strategies, generated press for clients, and managed new product launches, collaborations, and events. Kirsten joined Access Brand Communications in 2019 as a Media Specialist and was later promoted to Media Relations Director. At Access, they worked with clients like Intuit, NETGEAR, Visa, and Facebook. Most recently, they started working at Golin in 2022 as the Director of Media Relations.

Kirsten Peterson attended the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Their studies focused on Communication and Sociology.
