Marla Saret

Marla Saret has over 20 years of experience in the media and public relations field. Marla currently holds the position of Executive Vice President, Earned Media at Golin since August 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Edelman for more than 12 years, where they served as Senior Vice President, Media. In this role, they developed media strategies and provided counsel for various consumer and corporate clients. Marla also secured placements with national and local media outlets and trained Edelman employees for media relations. Before joining Edelman, they worked as a Media Relations Specialist/Account Supervisor at Ketchum. Marla began their career as a Writer/Producer at WBBM-TV and then worked as a Producer at CLTV and a Writer at WGN-TV.

Marla Saret completed a Mini MBA from Miami University in 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science in Journalism (MSJ) from Northwestern University in 2000. Marla's undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.), was obtained in Mass Communication from Miami University from 1995 to 1999. Marla also obtained a certification in Mini MBA from Miami University in 2021.
