Jared McDaris

Jared McDaris has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jared currently serves as a Staff Writer & Audio Editor at Starlight Radio Dreams since December 2019. Before that, Jared worked at Golub Capital, where they held multiple positions such as Office Services Coordinator, Office Services Specialist, Office Services Assistant II, and Office Services Assistant I, from January 2015 to September 2020. Prior to their time at Golub Capital, Jared was an Actor/Director in Chicago starting from October 2010, and they also served as the Artistic Director of the Unrehearsed Shakespeare Company from October 2009 to February 2020. Additionally, Jared was a Resident Playwright at EDGE Community Theatre from February 2014 to April 2016 and worked as an Office Temp at Mack & Associates from July 2011 to January 2015.

Jared McDaris completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from Black Hills State University in 2007. Jared then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Theater from Western Illinois University, which they completed in 2010.
