Helena Villena Romera

Helena Villena Romera is a Senior Associate in the Public Law Department at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo since January 2022. In addition, Helena serves as an Adjunct Professor of Administrative Law at IE Law School and will teach Environmental Law at the EU level in a Master's program at Universidad Francisco Marroquín in 2024. Previous experience includes a role as a Visiting Attorney at Cariola Díez Pérez-Cotapos and work in the Public Law Departments at Hogan Lovells and PwC. Helena also contributed to European Affairs at the Instituto de Crédito Oficial, Spain's state-owned development bank. Academic credentials include a Master of Laws from IE Business School and a Master's in International Business from Universidad de Salamanca, alongside a Bachelor of Laws from Universidad de Granada and a period of study at the University of Warsaw.
