Hemant Banavar

Hemant Banavar is an accomplished product leader with extensive experience in financial products and technology. Currently serving as VP, Head of Financial Products at Motive since April 2019, Hemant has been instrumental in launching the Motive Card and Spend Management Platform, and has held various leadership roles focusing on growth, pricing, and data management. Prior roles include Product Manager at Stripe, where Hemant led merchant onboarding and intelligence, and Product Manager for UberEATS, contributing to its rapid global expansion. Hemant's career also includes significant experience at Yelp, managing the product roadmap for business products, and at Microsoft, where Hemant directed the product strategy for Bing’s people search and personalization efforts. Hemant holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and advanced degrees in Computer Science from Florida State University and Shivaji University.
