Matt Ghering

Matt Ghering is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis. Currently serving as VP of Finance at Motive since April 2023, Matt previously held the position of Head of FP&A at Notion and led financial planning and analysis as VP at TripActions. Notable roles also include Senior Director of Finance & Strategy at Square, where Matt managed a team focused on go-to-market and international investments, and Director of Marketing Strategy & Operations at Airbnb, overseeing brand marketing strategies and organizational growth plans. With a strong background in financial management at industry giants such as Google and McKinsey, Matt holds an M.A. in Public Policy from Harvard University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
