Andrea Ivy Cantrell (she/her)

Andrea Ivy Cantrell has a diverse work experience spanning over the years. Andrea is currently working at Gong as a Senior Instructional Designer, a position they have held since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Instructional Designer at the same company starting from March 2021.

Before joining Gong, Andrea worked at SalesLoft, starting in March 2018. Andrea'sroles at SalesLoft include Customer Education Manager, where they developed and delivered workshops, certification programs, eLearning content, and reference materials. Andrea also served as the LMS administrator, Instructional Designer, and course author, contributing to the vision and direction of the Customer Education Team. Andrea also worked as a Consultant, Professional Services at SalesLoft, providing support, training, and troubleshooting for teams new to the SalesLoft platform.

Andrea started their career at Benjamin E. Mays Preparatory Academy in 2009 as a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher. Andrea then moved on to Intown Academy in 2010, where they taught Grade 3. Andrea later joined Georgia Connections Academy in 2011 as a Master Teacher, providing training, support, and supervision to teachers and maintaining regular contact with students and parents.

Andrea Ivy Cantrell obtained their Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus on Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Georgia State University, which they attended from 2005 to 2008. In addition to their undergraduate degree, they have also earned several certifications. In 2008, they obtained a Mathematics Teaching Endorsement from the Georgia Department of Education. In 2012, they received a Gifted and Talented Endorsement from the same institution. Most recently, in January 2020, they obtained an ATD Instructional Design Certificate from the Association for Talent Development. Furthermore, Andrea obtained a Teaching Certification for Early Childhood Education and Middle Grades Language Arts from the Georgia Department of Education in January 2008.
