Idan Michaeli

Idan Michaeli has a strong background in data science and AI research. Idan is currently the AI Research Senior Team Lead for Predictive Modeling at Gong, where they lead a team in integrating various data sources to develop an AI-driven predictive layer for the Gong product suite. Prior to this, they were a Senior Research Scientist for Predictive Analytics at Gong.

Before joining Gong, Idan served as the Director of Data Science at Hippo Insurance from September 2020 to December 2021. Idan also co-founded Perceptive AI and held the role of Chief Data Scientist from July 2017 to September 2020.

Earlier in their career, Idan worked as the Chief Data Scientist at Dynamic Yield from August 2013 to July 2017, where they developed online machine learning algorithms for web personalization. Idan also worked as a Researcher and Developer at the Israel Securities Authority from June 2010 to August 2013, where they designed and developed tools and algorithms for market surveillance and fraud detection.

Idan Michaeli pursued their education with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Physics from Tel Aviv University, where they enrolled in 2002 and completed their studies in 2006. Afterward, they furthered their academic journey at Utrecht University, where they obtained a master's degree in Theoretical Physics from 2006 to 2008.
