Doug Vandenboom

Doug Vandenboom, MBA, has a diverse range of work experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, contracts, and management roles within various universities. Doug currently serves as the Director of Strategic Sourcing and Procure to Pay at Gonzaga University. Previously, they worked at Eastern Washington University as an Instructor and later as the Director of Procurement and Contracts, overseeing a team and implementing strategic goals for the department. Prior to that, they held positions at the University of Idaho, including Assistant Director of Contracts and Purchasing Services, Interim Senior Buyer, and Buyer. Additionally, they managed the Summer Conferences and Youth Programs at the University of Idaho and served as the Interim Manager of Business Operations for the University of Idaho Conference Services.

Doug Vandenboom, MBA, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Eastern Washington University, which they obtained from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University from 2009 to 2011. Doug also has a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Political Science from the University of Idaho, which they earned from 2004 to 2006. In addition, Doug holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Justice Studies / Sociology from the University of Idaho, which they completed from 1998 to 2002.
