Smit Gade

Smit Gade is an experienced professional in data and research, currently serving as the Director at Good Business Lab, a position held since July 2017. Gade has progressed through various roles at the same organization, including Associate Director, Senior Manager, and Data and Research Manager. In addition to this, Gade has experience in academia as a Visiting Professor at Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics and as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Indian School of Business and Finance. Previous roles include Research Associate at Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) and Assistant Professor at Symbiosis Centre For Management and Human Resource Development. Gade's early career included a position as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at John Deere. Educational qualifications include an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford, an MSc in Economics from Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from COEP Technological University.
