Peter Cliff

Peter Cliff has accumulated significant work experience in the field of technology and software development. Peter currently holds the position of Cloud Infrastructure Lead at Good Energy since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Architect at Oxfam from May 2022 to September 2022. Peter also has experience as an AWS Solutions Architect and Senior Innovation Developer at Jisc from January 2020 to May 2022, where they led the architecture and development of the Intelligent Campus research project. Other roles include Senior Software Engineer at Living Map, Eduserv, and Mango Solutions, as well as the Digital Preservation Technical Lead at The British Library. Peter started their career as a Research Officer at UKOLN - University of Bath.

Peter Cliff earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Philosophy from the University of Kent, where they studied from 1995 to 1998. Peter later pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same university between 1998 and 1999. In terms of certifications, Peter achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certificate from Amazon Web Services in November 2020, and earlier in February 2020, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) certification from the same institution.
