Nicholas Lim Pinn Yang has extensive work experience in the digital media industry. In 2015, they began their career as an Internship at WeChat Malaysia, Tencent. Nicholas then moved onto become a Business Development Executive and Content Operation Executive at WeChat Malaysia, Tencent. In 2016, they co-founded Penang Foodie, a digital media that publishes content about food, travel and events in Penang. The page reaches more than 12 million people monthly. In 2018, they co-founded both Good Foodie Media Sdn Bhd, a digital food media that curates daily food and activities content in Malaysia & Singapore, and KL Foodie, which reaches 30 million people on social media and 1 million website visitors monthly on average. In 2019, they co-founded Bangkok Foodie.
Nicholas Lim Pinn Yang began their educational journey in 2013 when they attended Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marketing in 2015. Prior to this, they attended Chung Ling High School, though no degree was obtained. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications from Google: the Google Analytics Individual Qualification in October 2016 and the Google AdWords certification - search advertising.
