Joyce Longfield is an accomplished professional in the field of high pressure processing (HPP) with extensive experience in research and development, particularly in the food industry. Currently serving as the Head of R&D and HPP Process Authority Expert at HPPY Skin and as the Principal of HPP Applications at Good Foods Group, LLC, Joyce also contributes as a Council Member for the Packaging & Processing Women's Leadership Network and a Board Member at the Cold Pressure Council. With a background in regulatory guidance through J.L. Consulting Services, Joyce has significant expertise in designing validation and shelf life studies for HPP-treated products. Joyce was the Chairperson of the Cold Pressure Council from May 2018 to August 2020 and founded Chixi Chickpea Butter. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Genetics from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from the University of Guelph.
