Kirsten Branton

Kirsten Branton has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to the present. Kirsten began their career at the Poynette Men's and Co-ed Slowpitch Leagues, where they served as a Scoreboard, Statistician, and Entertainment staff member from May 2011 to August 2013. During this role, they were responsible for maintaining game records, managing the scoreboard, updating the league's website, and ensuring teams' compliance with financial obligations.

From May 2011 to August 2013, Kirsten also contributed as a Baseball/Softball Field Maintenance team member at the Village of Poynette. In this position, they handled daily maintenance tasks for five baseball and softball fields, such as field preparation for games, raking, lining, and adjusting base distances.

Kirsten then expanded their experience by working as a Teacher at Little Angels Daycare from October 2013 to February 2014. In this role, they opened the daycare, prepared breakfast and snacks for the children, actively engaged with them through play and education, and prioritized their safety.

In 2014, Kirsten secured an internship as a Digital Media Intern at the Madison Mallards Baseball Club from May to August. Kirsten'sresponsibilities included controlling the video board during games, creating slides for games and promotions using Photoshop, and designing slides for the website.

During the summer of 2015, Kirsten worked as a Sports Camp Counselor at the YMCA of Dane County, where they supervised and facilitated various sports activities for camp attendees.

Continuing their involvement in sports-related roles, Kirsten served as an Intramural Intern at the Amie L. Mathy Center from September to December 2015. Kirsten'stasks included coordinating intramural leagues, managing player registrations, overseeing game incidents, supervising staff, and assisting with social media management.

Kirsten then transitioned to the corporate sector, joining Research Products as an Assembler from July 2016 to June 2017.

From July 2017 to May 2019, Kirsten held the position of Store Manager at Good Karma Brands, where they demonstrated their management skills.

In May 2019, Kirsten took on the role of Marketing Facilitator at Good Karma Brands and eventually advanced to become the Marketing Manager for Newsradio 620 WTMJ in February 2021, where they currently work.

Kirsten Branton attended Poynette High School from 2009 to 2012. Kirsten then went on to study Sport Management and Leadership with a minor in Marketing at Viterbo University from 2012 to 2016.
