Lea Silver has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Her first job was as a Jewelry Consultant at Zale. In 2015, they became an Office Assistant at Sonshine Girls Painting, and also started their own business, Roar Representation, as an Owner and Public Engagement Specialist. In 2016, they took on the role of Community Development Coordinator at Heart and Stroke, and in 2014 they became the External Relations and Fundraising Coordinator at Nanaimo Unique Kids Organization. In 2015, they began working with Tarita's Travel Connections as a Public Engagement Specialist, and in the same year they took on the role of Marketing and Office Assistant at Pye Design. In 2017, they became the Sales & Membership Services Manager at IMAX Victoria, and in 2021 they assumed the role of Senior Customer Service Manager at good natured Products Inc.
Lea Silver completed their High School Diploma at Ecole Secondaire Ballenas Secondary School from 2004 to 2009. Lea then attended Simon Fraser University from 2009 to 2013 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communications. During their time at Simon Fraser University, they also completed a Minor- Dialogue in Semester in Dialogue in 2011 and obtained a Support Over Suicide & Students in Distress Certification in July 2012. In 2019, they enrolled in the University of Victoria and is currently working towards a Certificate in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching, which they are expected to complete by 2022. In 2021, Lea Silver also obtained a Project Management Specialization (Coursera) from UC Irvine in the field of Project Management.
